Homestuck Event: CampStuck

Hello, Homestuck fans! For those of you interested in spending a weekend with other Homestuck fans, I will once again be hosting CampStuck! A 2-night, 3-day experience based on one of your favorite webcomics! Hi guys! Promstuck is getting close! This post will contain all of the details you will need to know before attending. If you have read the FAQ, you will probably recognize a lot of the information, but please make sure to read this and make sure you understand everything this post outlines before coming to Promstuck. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask.

WHERE: Elk’s Lodge in Greenfield, IN 820 S State St, Greenfield, In 46140.

WHEN: 6pm-10pm on the 23rd of May

COST OF ADMITTANCE: At-the-door admittance will be $5.00 Make sure to bring 5 dollars 

RULES:

Please conduct yourself in a respectful manner during this event. Treat other guests, the decorations, the furniture, and the space we are hosting Promstuck in with respect.

No alcohol, drugs, or smoking in or near where we are hosting Promstuck. If you have to smoke, please go outside and stay away from the door.

Promstuck is open to all ages, but if you are a minor please make sure your parents are ok with you coming and know where you are.

We will not tolerate mental, physical, or sexual harassment of ANYONE at promstuck. If you are being harassed at any point during Indiana Promstuck, please let one of the hosts or chaperones know, and we will immediately escort the individual from the vicinity or have them arrested.

If you notice anything missing, please let the hosts or chaperones know. If you find something that is not yours, please give it to us immediately so we can return it to the owner. Stealing will not be tolerated.

Please behave in an appropriate manner. We will not tolerate any sexual activity during the event. We would also appreciate it the amount of PDA is kept to a minimum.

If you are over 18, please understand that there will be minors attending. If a minor expresses discomfort towards any of your advances, please be respectful and do not force interaction. If you are a minor and feel uncomfortable at any point during Promstuck, please let a host or chaperone know.

You must sign in and sign out every time you enter and leave Promstuck. Please make sure people know where you are at all times.

Do not pop any balloons.

If you use body paint, please seal the paint before coming to Promstuck. Do not paint your hands.

OUTLINE OF THE EVENT: For the majority of the event, the attendees will be left to socialize, dance, and enjoy themselves. On top of that, we might play a few fun games. If you have a specific game you think would be a good idea to play, feel free to tell us beforehand or at the event. At the end of Promstuck, we will elect a White King and Queen and a Black King and Queen. Throughout the event, people will also be allowed to donate cans to our Can Town.

WHAT SHOULD I BRING?: Cans for Can Town Food/Drinks (if you have offered to bring some) Money for admittance A positive attitude

DO I HAVE TO COSPLAY?: No, it is not a requirement. An important note about body paint, though: Please, please, PLEASE remember to PROPERLY SEAL YOUR MAKEUP before coming to the event. If you don’t have any way to seal your body paint, don’t come with any on. We want to avoid getting the space we’re using or our other guests unnecessarily dirty, so please seal. You are not required to follow the Midnight Masquerade theme in order to attend, but if you are able, adherence is suggested.

PROMCOURT: A Black King , a Black Queen, a White King, and a White Queen will be elected. Running is only open to cosplayers, and the title you run for will be determined by your character’s dream world and gender. Voting will be open throughout the event. The winners will be announced near the end of Promstuck.

Upon winning, they will receive:

A crown

A special Kings’ and Queens’ dance with any consenting partner. (Their winning partner, their date, that one cute person they’ve been flirting with, etc.)

SOME IMPORTANT NOTES:

All chaperones and hosts will have an orange ribbon around their wrists. If you need absolutely anything, please talk to one of them. Our job is to make sure that everyone is having fun and that everything runs smoothly.

We will be making the bathrooms gender neutral. Instead of “Male” and “Female” restrooms, we will be changing it to “With/Without Urinal”. If this confuses you, please ask one of the hosts or chaperones to explain it to you.

Do not pop the balloons. It’s ok if you pop one accidentally, but please do not pop them intentionally. You will be asked to leave if you do not cooperate.

SEAL YOUR MAKEUP!!

You’re allowed to take pictures/videos of whomever you want! Just make sure you have permission beforehand!

Please do not coerce others for fanservice! You should not make others feel obligated to kiss/hug/do anything that is beyond their personal boundaries!

I was the pink-haired Dave Strider with a Time hoodie on Saturday, and Judge/Pablo mask Zacharie earlier today!

I’m sorry that I don’t remember URLs to tag or names for certain people, but I don’t have URLs in any notebooks because I was a dumb, and I was kind of anxious by the actual meet part of the second meet, for reasons that those who were still there when I introduced myself probably figured out.
