"Can I help you?" Steve asked as he raised his eyebrows in question.

Natasha-- Hey. Everything going okay?
"Are you trying to impress me?"

Natasha had been on the trail of a notorious serial killer per order by SHIELD for months now, hot on his heels but always being barely one step behind; this wasn't normal for the redhead and she felt that something was up. She covered her tracks, used every alias she had under her belt and still she couldn't get to him.
It was month three at this point, the assassin taking a stroll on her own for the first time in a long time. Yes, it was personal -- the stroll -- the redhead wanting at least a few hours to herself to do as she pleased, but she was never not on the lookout. Who was to say he wasn't tracking her now to make sure she never found him? Walking through the small crowd of people through a strip mall in the state of Florida, she went about her business.

Fall || Natasha & Clint
All communication from SHIELD was completely shut down. Clint hadn't heard from Natasha in months. Although, that wasn't anything new. But Fury hadn't even checked in on him. He hadn't even heard from Bobbi lately, which was the biggest surprise, and worry. But he had to remember his training.
If communications are down, lay low and keep going.
It was one of the few times when he wasn't running around doing stuff for SHIELD. He and Lucky the Pizza Dog were just chilling together in his apartment, enjoying -- what else? -- some pizza. "Don't hog it all," he chided the half-blind golden retriever, rolling his eyes as the dog nuzzled his nose into the box for another slice.
