It was not only physically but also mentally demanding to climb the Gunung Inerie for the sunrise. We left at 2 am to climb up the steep and slippery mountain, not knowing how long it would take. Surrounded by complete darkness it seemed like the journey was never ending. But as most of the time the hard work payed off! .

Deuxième journée à Bajawa, nous nous lançons l'objectif d'atteindre le sommet du mont Inerie ! Un dénivelé de 1000m parcouru en 3h pour atteindre une altitude de 2245m. Une ascenssion vertigineuse sous un soleil de plomb qui nous amène au dessus des nuages. Tout ceci, accompagnés d'un guide local et de nos fidèles acolytes Virginie, Guillaume et Mathieu. La descente perilleuse fut à peine plus rapide dans un long chemin de pierrier, nous forçant donc à aller nous relaxer à nouveau dans les hotsprings de la veille! Le soir, nous avons retrouvé Jeremy autour d'une bonne Bintang.
