I'm just... thinking about the Infinite Man again and like. The relationship between the girl who followed Oz and lost faith in him, realising he was "just a man" and the warrior woman who kills him. How both feel like they're meant to represent Cinder at different points in her life. And then how the shot of Rhodes and Cinder standing apart before they fight

And how it's more or less the exact same shot of Ozpin and Cinder in the vault before they fight as well

How the Infinite Man and Rhodes lost their fights the moment they gave up on the idea of trying to help or reach out to their opponent. (and that's not even getting into how Ozpin doesn't even try to talk to Cinder here or try to understand why she's doing this, even after hearing her speech) How we got Cinder's sympathetic backstory the same episode that Oscar resolves to stay in Whalem and attempt to divide Salem's followers and by appealing to their humanity and basically redeem them, how most of his efforts are focused on Hazel but that he also tries to reason with Cinder as well and I just.... I'm losing my mind here still thinking about it.

Like it just feels like there's something different there about the two finally being able to break the cycle.
