The Ruins of Blood and Dust
Fun fact - Chapters 4-6 take place over the course of a trip to Petsmart by Ty and his friends to get food for Banana, his tarantula, and then lunch, during which JJ nearly punches David in the nose for hugging him unexpectedly (JJ’s family are not huggers)
If we're trying to figure out someone like Uncle Iroh who, based on his character, is someone who's essentially already a Fully Realized Player, you look upon his beginning and then his end. Deffo a Breath player, because he literally goes Nirvana and joins the Spirit World without physical death in ATLOK. I'm thinking either Page or Sylph of Breath, because after his son's death he went into a depression and decided to go on a spiritual journey across the world. AND he's pretty fuckin' OP, so.
Controversial Take: What if... Breath. Very good commander from the Fire Nation about to accomplish what many were unable to, when the death of his Son has him have a ‘crisis of faith’. Heel turn and becoming a chaotic figure from every angle- To Zuko, he always seems to be holding him back and trying to teach him irrelevant things, to the Gaang, he’s kind of a weird ‘enemy’ they don’t really have to deal with at all, and yet he’s always there, under and behind everything. Slowly putting good ideas in Zuko’s head trying to make him go down a less self-destructive path. Part of the White Lotus, undercover. The entire image of Iroh is deconstructed through the series from the Lazy Chill Uncle, to one of the most transcendent and benevolent figures in the entire series, and I feel that may JUST mark him as a bit of a wildcard.
Also, Destroying Detachment, working towards Unity across Nations, isn’t that the point of the White Lotus?

“That sounds like it’ll go in real mature directions. Hey, Gardevoir! I emphasized the sarcastic bits like you taught me!”
“Aw, I’m so proud of you!”
“Please don’t teach the sweet spring child bad habits...”
