rant/need advice/need information!!

Hi guys, so this small rant might seem really dumb so i apologize in advcance </3

Basically, ive never had a job and im 17 (im an unemployed unc). The main reason I've held it off if because I was always so afraid of not having any time for my personal life to hangout with my friends and boyfriend. My friends and my bf also have things to do like they have work and also extra curriculars. I was always so worried that I wouldn't get to see them often anymore, and balance my life with school and a job at the same time.

But im getting to the age where I should get a job for real experience and I want to start earning my own money.

Working on weekends (like friday and saturday) after school would work best for me, and i could take another shift during the weekday as well. But i dont wanna seem picky with my hours yk?

Maybe i'm overthinking everything because ive never had a job, and im just thinking of the worst case scenarios.

If anyone could lmk realistic expectations, please do so!! <3
