More Illustration Media projects :3 Everytime I draw my OCs I love it so much I wish my brain could be motivated to draw stuff like this even when someone else isn’t setting the due dates for me :’’] Oh well! These exist and I am so happy. 

The human is named Guinevere (they/them), the star with the scarf is Margel (she/her). Margel’s little siblings did not exist until these drawings so they don’t have names yet (this story is not very fleshed out at all lol). Feel free to suggest names :D

This rascally deva is one of the many illustrated examples I’ve included in the upcoming Proportions Lesson from HTDC.

My aim in this illustration was to give her pose that was as dynamic as possible to show how the proportions of a character warp when they’re posed in perspective.

This is one of the core challenges many of us run into when it comes to drawing comic book characters in complex poses – being able to move the human figure freely on the page, while still making sure they measure up correctly!

I have to admit, this pose was pretty darn tricky to nail – even for me. I actually had to go back over it a number of times before I managed to get it to look right.

The video goes for 30min, and I’ve narrated the entire thing – Walking you through the 3 Step Inking Process I like to use to achieve consistent results in my Comic Book Illustrations.

I'm finally finished with the pages for Eel volume 3 and am now working on fine tuning the extras for the final book.
