For dA's contest.

Featuring animal tamer Inkar, her Pallas's cat, Raspberry, and her saiga antelope, Banzai.

Once upon a time, Inkar would have Raspberry perform for passersby, who might stop and say, "Oh, that's cute," before leaving her without another thought. Then she came across the Lion Tamer's Paw. Suddenly, her pets began to grow to massive sizes, and her performances became a once-in-a-lifetime marvel. She carries the symbol of a lion as a representation of her talisman.

I looked to Central Asia for inspiration but definitely took liberties as I tried to combine the culture with both an idol and an animal tamer.

And don't try this at home. By which I mean, don't try to tame critically endangered or near threatened species.
