Is it based on a certain local tradition or is it just from your imagination? Absolutely beautiful, in any case
it’s from this post - Moszyński describes it as a tradition emerging in certain Slavic regions, although best described in Bulgarian ethnographic texts, which leads to believe the practice was most prevalent there (as most wolf-related beliefs from the slavic-balkan family, really).
