The 70 min run felt SO hard today. Not sure if it’s because I didnt give myself 30 min after my pre-run fuel, or because I didn’t warmup long enough. HR was so high but I had a hard time slowing down. But showed up.

Uhm, why are miles so hard? 😅 But so pleasantly surprised by my first timed mile trial which was 7'58"!!!!! This beats my personal PR from high school of 8'08"!! 😭🙌🏻 The 200m repeats afterwards were so brutal but showed up!!
yep yep, i showed up. HR was probably a tad bit too high but honestly kept it as easy as possible.
I think i need to work on ankle mobility though. Feet get a bit hot/numbish? Tried different socks and shoes and it was consistent. Shoes are definitely the right size.
#fastfall week 2 second speed workout - this was honestly so much fun. Made my cool down speed seem so… slow??? Love incorporating some Fast Girl vibes in my workouts. 💜
Second week of fast fall. Wanted to do my speed workout outside but unfortunately the air quality is terrible so I went to the gym and got it done. I also made a salad and pb banana toast. Body felt strong thanks to the food. :) Food is fuel.
#fastfall Training - week 1 saturday long run. 60 min is considered long for me. I put on a running podcast and ran around the palace walls. Tried to keep it easy but sometimes the inclines got me. Finished feeling good, not so out of breath which was the goal!
Second speed workout of the week! Felt strong even though there was an incline in this route. First outdoor run in a while. 💜✨ Trying to chase some speed.
- easy peasy 30 min run on the treadmill
- let myself enjoy a banana peanut butter toast, though the bread was very underwhelming quality
- new park exploration with nari! Glad i got some fresh air at a new-to-me spot. :)
