Supplement Review: NITRO-PEAK by INNER ARMOUR

Supplement Type: Whey Protein/ Protein Shake

Seeing as how Mass-Peak had worked so good but was fatty, i thought why not try nitro? so i took this when i wanted to lean out a little after Mass-Peak. And well if you've seen the pics i post of my supps youd know i still use this to this day as my normal protein, it used to just be a protein shake, meaning it wasnt really whey, nor casien nor gainer, just protein(bcaa and glutamine included), but since it has been re-formulated to be a whey protein, also has about 6 g glutamine per shake (two scoops) , great recovery, great taste, i havent switched off of it yet, its been about two years haha, only problem is yes its a little pricey, but you get what you pay for in supps. i wouldnt be ignorant like some blogs to say its the best protein ever, but for me, it works great. i love it. as for taste over time i've tried every flavor, and all are good, the cookies and cream is a little weird though, i would suggest the chocolate peanut butter.

Taste: 9/10

Inner Armour ... brainstorming

First a little background as to how this idea came about. 

In the past year and a half, maybe two years, I have really gotten into the world of personal fitness, strength training, and supplements. Now now, lets not make assumptions when I say supplements.  Supplementation is an awesome way to help achieve personal fitness goals, if done correctly and safely. Its even in the word! They supplement what you are already doing. That is what most people don't understand, and which is why they call it wasting money, because they buy a supplement, take it, sit around watching TV and complain why nothing happens! I digress, back on the idea at hand. 

I got to the gym at least 4 times a week. I am in a bulking phase right now, so I am doing no cardio, and I've gained about 15lbs...mostly muscle ;)  Every time I go to the gym, I see all the athletes, and all the other gym rats who are there every week, always the same people. Anyone want to take a guess as to what brand of athletic apparel their wearing? Under Armour. Most of them anyway. Now, this is just a very small sample of gym goers in the US, but I bet if extensive market research was done the results would be somewhat similar. Under Armour products are just awesome to work out in, period. Here is where my idea comes in. 

Introducing: Inner Armour ...Under Armour's brand new supplement line. Made for athletes who want to get the most out of their bodies. 

The beauty of Inner Armour is that it does the EXACT same thing that Under Armour performance apparel does, it enhances the consumer's performance. These Under Armour brand loyal gym goers (myself included) would see this new product line from Under Armour and would automatically be interested, simply due to the strength of the Under Armour brand, and the loyalty that they already have in Under Armour products. 

Inner Armour products could be sold with package deals such as a free t-shirt or free shorts. This would help promote the performance apparel line of Under Armour while being a promotion for the sale of Inner Armour. 

Now, I understand that logistically speaking this would be a HUGE undertaking for Under Armour. But I really see the opportunity for this type of product launch. Under Armour would have to develop these products which would take more capital, more workers, much more research, and even a facility dedicated to the making of these fitness supplements. 

I just had this idea and thought it would great to try and show Under Armour what I can bring to the table in terms of idea generation. 

I believe this would be right up Under Armour's alley though, for the simple reason that they are not like other apparel companies. Under Armour strives on Innovation, and this would be innovative. This would shake up the world of supplements, and even the world of apparel. 

Continuously striving to do more. Thats what Under Armour does, and more is this type of opportunity that lays before Under Armour.
