We were holding on to this for such a long time because we didn't really know what to talk about, but recent events have given us the perfect topic now! We had a little syscovery within our system a couple nights ago, and I wanna talk about it!

So like. We juuuuust kind of figured out our (the host) median subsystem might be a LOT bigger than we originally thought? Because like, we have kinshifts based in past life spirituality stuff. And our kinshifts are VERY strong. Like we end up feeling more like whatever kin we are shifting to than any nebulous current "us." And for a while, that baseline was just Kokichi Ouma. So we were Kokichi! And Kokichi was a median subsystem consisting of Kokki, Ouki, and Caine. Kokki and Ouki prefer to blend passively a lot of the time, collectively identifying as Kouki when they do so. Simple!

NOT simple.

A little while back we had a new kinshift for the first time in a very long time: Taro Matsuzaki. It was kind of intense, especially because while we originally thought we were still Kokichi just having another kinshift, it didn't really port correctly? Like, Taro himself is a median system, consisting of Taro and Kijo. However, Kokki and Ouki didn't port very cleanly into one correlating to Taro and the other correlating to Kijo. The overlapped a lot and it made us super blendy trying to conceptualize ourselves on this multi-point spectrum. Caine was just straight up obliterated! And so for a hot minute we started worrying that we WEREN'T Kokichi, that we'd somehow split an entirely new host and Kokichi had gone dormant, which we had never done before. It was scary.

Then, just two days ago, we had another unexpected shift: Hajime Hinata. It was just as intense as Taro and we got blurry and confused all over again because suddenly instead of Taro and Kijo, Hajime was a MUCH larger median system that ported more cleanly to Kokichi's setup: Hajime and Izuru, who much like Kokki and Ouki prefer to blend as Mirai/Future Hajime, but also further subdivide into regressed versions that are more separate, and then Awa/Awakened Hajime.

We were kind of freaking out, and that's when our partner system introduced the concept of fableings to us. And when I tell you how suddenly EVERYTHING clicked into place and made sense again.

So, now as we understand it, we (the host) are apparently a median fableing subsystem that further subdivides into OTHER, smaller subsystems based on whatever fableing/kinshift is fronting. We don't really have much of a grasp on how many fableings we have, since this concept is relatively new to us but we have a LOT of kins. So for now, here is basically how it lays out:

This is JUST the host, by the way. The rest of the Nonsensical System, both Inner and Outer, is very distinct from us. The host itself is just a very, VERY big median subsystem on top of everything else. Wild.

We have no idea if we need a new collective name at this point just for the host. It feels weird to do so. But also Kokichi feels weird to go by when another fableing is fronting. Noni is for the entire Nonsensical System. We're still kind of trying to figure it out. But! That's what's up with us. Thanks for reading!
