#insecure?

feelin like a really insignificant other..

having an illness that precludes physical intimacy (and will continue to do so for a WHILE) is super rough, especially when your partner both has a nesting partner and hadn’t cuddled or otherwise been intimate with you in like a month leading up to getting sick

Some people think that because both Crystal and Sierra do the things they do it means they have self confidence but they still are insecure people. What are your thoughts on that?

I think they do the things they do for the sole purpose of people telling them how wonderful they are, how beautiful they look, how much they are idolized, etc.  It is completely self-serving.  

It is my general reaction to think that people who are really that insecure don’t go posting things that will create an open platform for criticism.  However, I can admit that like everyone else in the world Crusty and Messy probably have their own insecurities.  They may both need/thrive on the validation that comes from any praise received.  Lucky for them, they get the benefit of thousands upon thousands of stans who idolize them simply because they date a band member.  

I don’t see why they must always state how insecure they are - we get “it.”  They want to be super-relatable to all the young stans and feel that if they share their supposed insecurities over edited photos, being incredibly slender despite  gaining 20 lbs and not knowing what to do with one’s hands in a picture it will make them seem that much “realer.”
