so i hit a milestone the other day and realized i’m at 7k+ followers, and i haven’t done a follow forever innn forever! i felt like this called for a little celebration of those followers who have always stayed true to me - and who i’ve always and will always stay true to, as well. i may have lost touch with some of you but you all know you’re in my heart, which is sappy as hell and true as hell all at once. just fyi, these aren’t all vampire diaries blogs, but they’re fantastic and eclectic and led by some really amazing people. if you’re not sure who i am… i’ve gone through a whole lot of URLs, including delightfuldamon, whatsyourbloodtype, hauntedbyelena, theghostofdelena, and the one i almost always go back to, freakylikethat. you may also know me from my main blog, which generally alternates between drowninginawesome, gotmeallfuckedup, and its current URL, fanaticandfemale.

on to the follow forever. i probably haven’t talked to you in ages, but know i love you guys like crazy.

*sweats*, of course, it ended with s4. LOL…yess…completely agreed….I’m so glad that I’m not the only one, and baby elena…ugh…so amazing. especially in 3x2 when Damon pushes her into the lake and confronts her about leaving the island…and his confession about doing it for her *swoons* there are so many great delena moments in s3, i completely agree. and you’re right, they wrote the build up better, but i think that has to do with KW leaving…he left at s3, so i think he helped outline it and outline part of s4, but then left JP and honestly, i think studio execs pressured her into continuing the love triangle because it drew in ratings. yes, jp could’ve written better around it, but i think it’s hard for writers to write a relationship well…B99 is doing an amazing job with jake and amy because the show doesn’t revolve around them…i think if JP focused on mythology and story and less on delena or stelena, we would’ve had a better s4 and so on.

And that scene where she admits she was worried about the werewolves *hearteyes* and he tells her to remember the things she felt while S was gone. And also all the habits they must’ve developed together, and routines and stuff, I just love fantasizing about that.

Yeah well, KW was DE biggest shipper. It’s why I expected a better DE finale when he came back for it. At least a certain somebody didn’t make it (I’m sorry I can’t even fake grief for him).

Totally agree! And we didn’t need the show to be about them. We would’ve been happy with background scenes of them being a total badass cute couple and doing couply stuff haha. The constant making and breaking it was exhausting, though I gotta say s6 wasn’t that bad at all.

B99 is a story all on its own, I mean they’re doing such a wonderful job and it’s restoring my faith in tv shows. They do it all and they do it well.

I’m not a fan of the continuation of the series tho (recent damaged like us and even any book beyond addicted after all) because imo the twins that wrote the books got greedy and the writing got lazy. Felt like complete fan service. But omg from addicted to addicted after all the books are some of my favs. Just be sure you read them all in order.
