I have an unparalleled hatred for Instagram and Facebook activism. We are being blindfolded by a media that controls our every thought and makes us think we we’re at wheel. By engaging in diet activism it makes us feel better but it does nothing to change reality. We need discussions, we need change in inner circles of society and we need tangible actions. Our perception of the world is so warped around the fake lives we’ve created for ourselves online that we see a hashtag as a protesting act, when in reality our need for justice is being satisfied by meaningless corporate bandaids that disappear after 24 hours. We have passed the stage of raising awareness and we need something stronger than raising hell, we need to go up against a system designed to make the right people fail and change it. We need to infiltrate and rise up within ranks. We need to wake up and see the spectacle of ourselves that government and media has made.
