After surviving a gauntlet of turbo duels and tag duels, I've finally unlocked the last pack in the game, and in addition to that, the All at Random pack! I'm getting closer to having all the cards I want, which means more room for experimenting with decks! I returned to the Horus deck and I'm trying out Instant Fusion, with my current targets being Alligator's Sword Dragon and Vermilion Sparrow, the latter of which I use with Magna Drago to summon Ancient Flamvell Deity. An alternative, possibly more effective approach is to summon Musician King instead, which gives access to Arcanite Magician, but for now I wanna give AFD a chance. Here's hoping it works out, because Horus is probably still my favorite version of Disaster Dragons and playing Instant Fusion, one of my favorite tech cards, in it seems like a lot of fun!

I've found a Turbo Duel deck that is actually more or less just as good as it is in normal duels, that being Gladiator Beast. With a relatively low spell count and all of their usual spells being available as speed spells, none of which have high speed counter costs, Gladiator Beasts translate seamlessly into a turbo duel environment! However, while I played with it yesterday, today I ended up instead focusing on building another Disaster Dragon variant, that being Dark Simorgh Dragons. My train of thought with that one was essentially just, there are enough good DARK and WIND Dragon-type monsters available that you can throw them all together and add Dark Simorgh as an additional lockdown element. I'm still experimenting with it, but so far it SEEMS alright? It's also the first Dragon deck so far to run Instant Fusion, which I appreciate a lot since it's such a cool card and I like getting to use the terrible early DM fusion monsters in an effective manner. I don't know if I'll KEEP it by the time I'm done testing, but I enjoy the flexibility in attribute it offers, how I can use it to add whichever attribute I need to my graveyard by using the summoned monster as Synchro material.

New idea for Blackwings: Instant Fusion, Barox, and Hundred Eyes Dragon. Barox as a level 5 Fiend is ideal Synchro material, and Gale the Whirlwind is a great level 3 DARK Tuner. Blackwings offer a bunch of good on-field effects, like Sirocco's power boost, Gale's attack halving, Shura's summoning, and Bora's piercing. Issue is though unless I also run Breeze the Zephyr, Gale is going to be the only compatible Tuner. Though that's not too bad, a level 5 is still ideal for my other Synchro plays, but really I think the main problem is extra deck space is tight. I think I'll consider other level 3 DARK Tuners that could fit into DARK-based decks so I can consider this play in other strategies, including Black Salvo, Dark Resonator, Genex Ally Birdman, Junk Synchron, and Twilight Rose Knight
