Discerning

Foolish I've been To let myself in. Growing inside Singing such a lullaby. I need to feel, The color that's supposedly real. But I cannot feel For I am not to appeal. I can only limit myself for so much time Please don't take what's mine. Let go of me, Let me be. Walking...walking What's wrong with my talking? No, I understand. No more demands. I will not ask for more So please don't take my store. Which keeps all my happiness inside. Why must you destroy my pride? I can only hold on for so long Please don't believe them, they're wrong. Let go of me, Let me be. Don't trust them, I am just a poem. So I ask for your kindness in return, Don't let them ruin this concern.
