A quick and easy pasta dish made in the Instant Pot and finished under the broiler for a cheesy, gooey topping.
Ingredients: 1 lb pasta. 24 oz marinara sauce. 2 cups water. 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese. 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese. 1/2 cup ricotta cheese. 1/4 cup chopped fresh basil. 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley. 1/2 tsp garlic powder. 1/2 tsp onion powder. Salt and pepper to taste.
Instructions: Add pasta, marinara sauce, water, garlic powder, and onion powder to the Instant Pot. Close the lid and set the valve to sealing. Cook on high pressure for 5 minutes. Once cooking is complete, do a quick release of pressure. Stir in half of the mozzarella and Parmesan cheeses until melted. Transfer the pasta mixture to a baking dish. Dollop ricotta cheese over the top and sprinkle with remaining mozzarella and Parmesan cheeses. Broil in the oven until cheese is melted and bubbly, about 5 minutes. Garnish with fresh basil and parsley before serving. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
