People who names your instruments, I am genuinely curious as to why you named it. As much as I love my flute, it is an inanimate object that is nonliving. It's not a cat or a fish or even a cactus. This being said, I am considering naming my flute Neil. As I've previously talked about somewhere on this hellsite, it's an Armstrong 55. Armstrong flute + my love of space = Neil? Idk. Which is why I'm curious. Reblog with your instrument(s)'(s) name(s) and why you named it that (or why it doesn't have a name!)
Do you have unique names for a ukulele?
Hey there! I recommend taking a look through the unique names tag! Let me know what you decide on (or if I can help further).
When people ask me to name a few brass instruments:
“That’s a trumpet. That one with the slide is a trombone. The circular one is a french horn.”
When people ask me to name a few woodwind instruments:
“Uh, that long black one is a clarinet. The banana shaped one is a saxophone, I think? And um I think the big shiny black thing is a bassoon??”
When people ask me to name a few string instruments:
“Bass? Viola?? scREW THIS THEY’RE ALL GLORIFIED VIOLINS”

Mom: So, now you have a clarinet. What are you going to name it?
6th Grade Me: Mom, I'm not naming my clarinet.
10th Grade Me: Mom, Betty needs more reeds.
Mom: Betty?
10th Grade Me: You know, Betty Clarinet-y? (Pronounced: CLAIR•UH•NET•EE)
My friend and I were trying to come up with a name for my mellophone today, and we got absolutely NOTHING. But we did decide that it's a male mellophone. Any suggestions?
We still have a sneaking suspicion the conductor is just there for show.
Ahh StarlInk I didn't realize how much I'd missed you until I played you again tonight
