The amount of posts I’ve seen about reblogs is mind blowing. So here is another one.
Creators are basically leaving in droves and fandoms are in a lull, yet nothing changes. It’s such a huge bummer to see people on anon come around asking for updates on fics they aren’t reblogging, complaining about lack of content, and giving unsolicited advice.
If reblogs aren’t your thing on your main, make a little side blog and let your followers know! If you enjoy something you’ve read, leave a little comment. Reblog with a gif or comment with an emoji if you can’t find the words or are too shy. A lot of creators have anons on in their asks and would love to hear from you or just hit up their inbox to keep it private. A simple thank you goes a long way.
People create for themselves but they share for community and a good time with people who are looking for an escape and entertainment.
Something to consider when you see something you like: Reblogs spread the word since tags don’t always work and there is currently no algorithm on this site. Comments are encouraging and really let creators know someone wants what they have to offer.
Just my two cents that I hope someone takes it into consideration.
