The streets were becoming more and more dangerous as the city fell into chaos. The disease was tearing through the city, and no one knew what to do. Kaia was feeling useless as she watched those she cared about suffer. Kaia frowned at her cough began to get worse, fearing momentarily she was becoming more ill Kaia quickly realised it was because of smoke. She had, of course, smelt it already, but the whole city smelled like smoke and Kaia thought nothing of it. Rounding a corner Kaia realised her path ahead was blocked by fire. Turning around Kaia went to walk back the way she had come, only to find another fire had been started blocking her in. Seeking shelter Kaia heading into the nearest building, only to discover she wasn’t the only one. “Trust me to pick the building that has a bloody vampire rotting away in it,” Kaia muttered looking at Ace.
