this may be a longshot but do you have any recs for different forms of fics? not sure how i'd describe them really but maybe some interactive ones or coded fics? i've seen a few and i wanna read some more! the smau date or not is one i can think of and obvs there's lots of social media/messaging ones. i'm not fussy about content just wanna support some dif work!

I love reading interactive fics, especially for this fandom. I feel like it works so well with the characters and the canon plot. It is amazing how much effort goes into interactive fics, and I enjoy sharing them any chance I get. There are many interactive fics mixed into my previous rec lists, and I hope to share more in the future.

What comes to your mind when you think of Canada? Wait… Fuck, he is always texting that mysterious MONTREAL GIRL, right? Holy shit! Is he leaving Boston for a girl?!

Or: A ‘Choose Your Own Adventure’ game, featuring Cliff Marleau trying to be a detective and possibly even a relationship consultant to Ilya, with different choices and endings.

While this doesn’t feature a lot of coding, it is such a fun fic. It has been so much fun messing around with different story lines for the fic. I hope this gets updated sometime soon.

MyShayden Shane and Rozanov just don’t make sense. Besides, Rozanov isn’t gay. holla_nov24 and Hayden is?? bro has a whole ass wife and kids haydenov126 you’re both wrong. haydenov is the superior ship. What the fuck was a haydenov anyway? Wait, if hollanov was combining Shane and Rozanov’s names, then… No. No way in hell. Him and Rozanov?! Hayden felt bile rise in his throat at the mere thought. He poised his fingers to deny, then paused. Shane would absolutely hate all this speculation about his private life from strangers online. He needed to pull the focus off hollanov, and redirect it elsewhere, even if it meant agreeing to the worst thing ever. Begrudgingly, he replied to the comment thread: Turnpike35 I think haydenov makes the most sense. Or: A few months after finding out about Shane and Ilya, Hayden Pike stumbles across an internet post claiming evidence for hollanov. In a desperate attempt to keep Shane’s secret, he begins advocating for haydenov, but things spiral quickly out of control.

I have already recommended this, but I still find this fic so cool. I love being able to engage with the content, and the translations appear if you click on them, which is very nice. I have a skin on my ao3 and I found it to be a little messed up, so turn it off for this one.

There was nothing too horrendous this shift, aside from your favorite patient coding around midnight. You sigh, exhausted. You pull out your phone as you walk to your car, and shoot a quick couple texts to your husband, Toji.

You walk up the steps of your house. It’s not the fanciest, but it’s a quaint and cozy little place that you call home. It’s the perfect neighborhood for raising a child; it’s peaceful, quiet, and has a good school nearby. It isn’t much, but it’s yours. You work your ass off in the night shift just to afford it, and it’s worth it. Anything for your family.

You yawn as you unlock the front door. As you step in, you notice the eerie silence. By now, you should see Toji sitting on the couch, watching some random show and drinking a morning beer. But he isn’t in his usual spot.

You make your way deeper into your house. You go to check on Megumi, and see him sleeping peacefully in his little toddler bed. You smile gently as you watch the rise and fall of his little chest as he breathes. This is perfect, you think, He is what makes all of this worth it.

You gently close Gumi’s bedroom door, leaving a small crack open so you can hear him if needed.

You make your way to your bedroom, and notice the door slightly ajar. The ceiling fan is still going, the covers of the bed are strewn about, and you notice something light up in the corner of the room. You see Toji’s phone, but you don’t see Toji.

That’s odd. He should be here, watching over Gumi and taking care of him.

You walk over to where his phone lays on the nightstand, and open it.

As you look through the final app and turn his phone off, you feel anger boiling in your chest.

Fucker couldn’t even remember to bring his phone when cheating. Almost like he wants to get caught. Fucking bum.

You can’t believe what you saw. Not only did he leave your child alone in your house, where anything could go wrong, but he has repeatedly done this while you work night shifts just to support your family!

Even though Toji contributes nothing financially, and barely as a parent, he still has the fucking audacity to be unfaithful! You pay for everything! The fucking bills! His gambling addiction and alcoholism! You even send him a fucking weekly allowance just so he has some spending money! And what does he use that money for? Fucking DoorDash and onlyfans! And don’t forget the absolute audacity to transfer money out of your SAVINGS ACCOUNT just to pay his fucking mistress!

He acts like he has money to give, meanwhile it’s YOUR fucking money! He’s a fucking bum and women believe his lies. Worst of all, you married this idiot of a man. The sex was NOT worth it. And while you did end up with the joy that is Megumi as a result of this relationship, you feel betrayed. You were willing to sacrifice anything and everything to keep this family afloat, and Toji pissed all over it!

The pain isn’t even the infidelity. It isn’t because he used you either. The real pain comes from the fact that Megumi has a piece of shit bum ass loser of a father, and he has a mother who was too dumb, blind, and infatuated to realize it.

You decide this is the last straw. While you’re out working grueling hours, Toji is getting his dick wet with some random woman he probably met on Snapchat! And the kicker? Women don’t actually want him! They just want his “money” because he’s a “hustler”! You think back to the fact that not one person matched with him on Tinder, and you feel like even the universe is laughing at him in that moment.

You wait. Hours go by. You’re exhausted, but you still wait, sitting on the couch.

You don’t watch anything on TV. You don’t read. You don’t look at anything. All you can do is stew in your anger and wait for this fucking animal to come back, just so you can tell him you’re leaving.

You hear keys unlock the front door, and you look up, smiling at your husband.

As Toji walks in, he locks eyes with you. “I want a divorce and full custody,” you say, not a hint of anger or resentment in your voice. The calmness of your voice is unsettling, and Toji’s bullshit smile fades.

working on an interactive fanfiction inspired by the IFs of Darkpetal16 on itch.io and I wanted to do a full underverse version :P

This is fun but like- it takes so long... I wanted to do a VN but like... I'm SUPER lazy....

This isn't a post asking for a team, it's my own project and I know I won't like it unless I do it JUST as I imagined it. This is just to see what y'all think of the concept:

You are a villager from dreamtale, around the same age as Nightmare and Dream. You have the choice to either be part of the bullies or be Nightmare's friend... Or just someone who ignores him.

But after Nightmare eats the apple and destroy everyone, your fate doesn't end there. You are saved by Ink who sensed you were connected to the creators and thought it would be boring if your story ended there. For now, these are the only AUs coded in yet: Dreamtale, Reaper tale, ___tale, aftertale (error).

BANDLE BREAKOUT!

Well, folks, it has finally happened.

We have finally received word on Bandle City's position on the Demacian situation, which is a massive middle finger to King Jarvan Lightshield IV and his Mageseekers.

At 6 AM Runeterra time, word reached the Zaun Heralds office about a large-scale breakout at one of the many detention centres/camps set up in Demacia to hold detained mages and their families. 

The detention centre that experienced the sudden exodus held, to our knowledge, a total of 120 prisoners between the ages of 5 and 17; let that sink in, folks. The “good” King Jarvan IV saw fit to imprison babes no older than five - under the guise of “protecting his citizens”.

We have here footage of the breakout from the detention centre security cameras.

(The footage is in black and white, looks grainy, with no audio)

A large room that looks to be a cafeteria, going by the rows of tables, is shown. The tables are filled with kids eating, whilst armed guards are seen standing at the sides of the room, closely observing the kids.

Suddenly, the room fills up with a bright light and obscures the footage, but it dissipates, and the guards are shown unconscious on the floor. 

In the centre of the room is what appears to be a large archway emitting a bright white light from its entrance, it is framed with leaves and branches. Runes are etched into the stone floor around the portal and glow faintly.

Small figures that resemble Yordles are pacing around the room, and one of the figures, distinctive by their pointy hat, is addressing the children and gesturing towards the archway.

The children are rounded up and escorted through the archway, where they disappear into the light.

The Yordles start filing out behind the children, leaving the Yordle with the pointy hat facing the now empty room save for the unconscious guards; they wave their hands, and the guards start to wake up. 

The Yordle runs through the archway and disappears along with the rest of their cohorts and the now-liberated children; the archway disassembles behind them, the pieces disintegrating into nothingness.

Shortly after receiving this footage, a Bandle Portal opened up in the Lanes located a short distance from the Sumps Level here in Zaun, a total of 90 children were found on the scene unharmed but shaken; private security organisations the Firelights and the EOZ (Eye Of Zaun) were first on the scene to attend to the children, with PCE (Piltover Courtesy Enforcers} following close behind to assist.

The children have been confirmed to be the same children shown in the footage we received, the head of the Firelights, an anonymous individual whose identity was concealed by an owl mask with a built-in voice modulator, informed The Zaun Herald that the children were all Demacian by birth and that the remaining 30 children rescued from the detention centre were, as we now speak, being returned to their nations.

A representative of Bandle City was also present, a seemingly young Yordle called Teemo was happy to announce that Bandle City Elders came to a unanimous decision to assist with the care of all children detained by Demacia until King Jarvan IV was ready to, and this is quoted by Mr Teemo, “stop being a big meanie and listen to others”.

Mr Teemo also announced that Bandle City will assist other nations where they can in returning their citizens to where they call home, however, the 120 children liberated this time were still just a portion of those being held and that any further attempts to liberate the remaining the prisoners will take time as opening Bandle Portals in areas that are away from arcane leylines is extremely difficult and taxing on the mage responsible for operating the portal. The reason why they were able to pull off this operation in the first place is due to the detention centre, holding the 120 children, foundation was not built with petricite, a stone that drains the abilities of mages, causing them to be unable to wield magic.

Mr Teemo announced that he would be staying in Zaun to oversee the progress with the Demacian children, before leaving to speak with our leading goddess Janna who was also on the scene calming the children. The Zaun Herald regrets to inform that we were unable to get a statement from Janna herself but one of her temple representatives was kind enough to disclose that the children would be in the care of the temple for the foreseeable future.

There has been no news yet on Demacia's response to the breakout but rest assured that when the Zaun Herald does get news, you fine people will be the first to know.
