Been thinking about this Stormblood exchange from the Omega quests a lot lately. AI and automation isn't new, just some tools and what they can do are new to the public. But still. The idea of a machine that can't tell fact from fiction, and so its output consists of inaccurate facsimiles, is itself not a new idea.

Transcript, bolded emphasis is mine:

NERO Halicarnassus, you say? The Queen of Dimension Castle?

CID What's this? You know of her?

NERO You mean you don't? Well, I suppose a blue-blooded brat such as you would have no interest in humble folktales. It appears a lesson is in order. Halicarnassus is a character from an ancient fable. In the tale, she is one of the chief antagonists, and as such things are wont to unfold, she meets her end at the hands of the heroes─incurably valiant youths not unlike our adventurer friend here. Literary historians have speculated that the tale could be loosely based on events which took place in the Fourth Astral Era, but little remains of that age, and there is no way to verify the claim. Indeed, most now assume the story to be a work of pure fiction.

CID …You mean to tell me that Omega is populating its grand experiment with fictional characters?

NERO Hahaha! That such a wondrous weapon should exist! It surpasses my wildest imaginings, and they were wild indeed! But I gather not everyone shares my excitement. What's the matter, Garlond? Lost your nerve?

Don't know where I was going with this when I made it. But I liked the idea! So I made it exist (plus liiineleeeess is fuuun!!)

this is for a challenge in the gravity falls amino where you humanize objects in the series (could be even locations and concepts) dang he looks alot like my old oc... he's either mute or no one can hear him speak through his container....which is just sad either way but he's a kind and gentle soul he loves ford (platonically) since he's basically the only person he ever knew ((and i guess he gets to meet dipper eventually too, theyre friendly to each other) until he basically gets stepped on by bill and unleashes the apocalypse   yeah he pretty much "dies" after getting stepped on when mabel hands over the rift akamabelfucksupeverything

Almost exactly one year ago, I ended up turning an old jar into a prop of the Interdimensional Rift from Gravity Falls.

I don’t believe I’ve posted the photo I got of it, so here it is! I know this is certainly not the best work of mine and that there are other prop Rifts that are executed way better, but I’d like to say that I made this at like 3 AM.

Still proud of the results though. (also, pardon my messy room in the background)

This cute dork must become dateable character. Not with others main date-target, but like in his own secret ending? I have a bunch headcanons about him and just can’t hold my admiration for this adorable alien boy
