internal echolalia-!
we experience both Immediate and delayed and internal and external echolalia-!! - Allison
interal echolalia!
Echolalia helps us process words so we use it quite often
Train of thought on loop?
Like you start thinking of something and then it keeps repeating over and over and it’s super not fun
Similar to one word on repeat but like a whole sentence or even few and you can’t manage to finish your thought process.
is it an echolalia thing to repeat other people's words in my head? but if someone is talking than I usually repeat it in my head without even meaning to. Even if they aren't talking to me, but I overheard it?
Yup, this is called internal echolalia.

We use echolalia often. We use delayed and immediate echolalia. We use internal echolalia. We use it to process. We use it to stim. We use it to communicate. We use it for fun. ETC ETC.
We use echolalia with our friends, family, other alters in system and mental health team. We use echolalia around others, in public, and alone.
We repeat songs and phrases. We repeat words. We repeat sounds.
Echolalia is important to us and a lot of other autistics.
