I’m a little surprised Gabriel never capitalised on Internet trolling to create akumas?

Seriously, Internet trolling is one of the biggest sources of frustration, anxiety and a myriad of *other* negative emotions for people in the real world, so imagine if Gabriel had capitalised on that to create new akumas? I know we sort of saw a troll-like figure with the toxic influencer Vincent in Revelator, but he only got akumatised after being exposed, and no akumas were caused by his slander. But by working with a notorious Internet troll or heck, even creating a bot account that couldn’t be traced back to his civilian identity, Gabriel could’ve turned social media into the best possible means of generating akumas.

Screw this, I’m writing an episode pitch based entirely on this premise. Heck, maybe even changing Lila’s role or giving her an associate who does exactly that…

Give It A Rest You Trolling MORONS!

Gal Gadot, of Wonder Woman fame, tweeted this about the passing of Stephen Hawking: "Rest in peace Dr. Hawking," she wrote. "Now you're free of any physical constraints...Your brilliance and wisdom will be cherished forever."

Now, she's being slammed and trolled by idiots who are saying she was discriminating against people with disabilities. REALLY???? As having been a parent of a child with paralysis and other debilitating issues, I was relieved when my child passed away. No more pain. No more hospitals. No more surgeries. No more sickness. NO MORE PAIN! I cried my eyes out when she died. Then I cried them out again. And still I cry them out at times when not having her with me, to hug me, and tell me she loves me, and look at me with those innocent and loving eyes. When she died, I was crushed...and I was relieved for her. Not me. For her. A few days after she died, our youngest daughter brought her mother and I a picture she drew of her sister in Heaven. Every picture before Lulu's death, EVERY ONE, that our young girl drew of her sister, was with Lulu in a wheelchair. But, not this one. Our baby girl was walking in Heaven with her great grandmother and others who went on before her. Our little nine year old daughter saw her sister as NOT HAVING PHYSICAL RESTRAINTS AND WAS GLAD ABOUT IT. Was she being discriminatory? Try telling me that to my face and see what happens! I usually don't take up for Hollywood types. But this was beyond the pale. The woman was trying to be nice. Let her try to be nice and leave her alone. Good grief. Our world is full of brainless idiots who have no sense of decency about them. None. Rant over.

On Dealing with Trolls

Can someone explain internet trolling to me?

I know I can just look it up, but I rather read it from other fan fiction writers and readers. I feel like a couple of people are really going in on the negative comments on one of my SQ stories, and I’ve been trying to console them and kill them with kindness but I feel like it’s getting me nowhere.

I’m just a little confused, because naturally when I start reading something and it seems like I’m going to fucking hate it, I simply stop reading it. I mean, not all stories are for everybody, right?

The comments don’t really bother me, it is what it is, what I don’t like is possibly damaging the reader. These two people seem to be taking my story to heart and I’m not sure it’s not causing them some kind of mental duress.

They seem to be the only two people who have a problem with the story and I always address their concerns but it doesn’t seem to work, so I’m really not sure what to do. I asked them to stop reading because it seemed to make them unhappy, but I just have this feeling they won’t because they enjoy posting very long negative comments.

Are they trying to bait me? I’m not sure. I’m trying to stay mature, positive, and understanding instead of telling them that ‘it’s not my problem if they keep missing the big picture’ or ‘just stop fucking reading it , dumbass!’ I try not to get too personal.

I know how passionate Swen readers and writers can be and I’m always open to suggestions but these people aren’t giving me any; they are just bitching about how they don’t like the way the characters are acting.

Should I keep responding to their comments?

Should I just ignore and/or delete them?

Should I not be so nice and understanding?
