Okay so in the Pro-Life Zootopia Comic®️ there’s a panel with some photos. This panel:

That’s Jesus. Right there, that’s baby Jesus and the Virgin Mary. Why??? Are they??? Rabbits???

Like, Jesus and god are compared to a bunch of animals in the Bible, though Jesus specifically is most often compared to a spotless sacrificial lamb. I know C.K. Lewis made his Jesus expy in the Chronicles of Narnia a lion and god is compared to a lion too. But never a rabbit or a hare.

So is this picture Judy’s? It’s right next to a picture of Nick’s mom, but he doesn’t take it with him when he leaves. He seems pretty religious in this comic, so I can’t imagine him leaving that behind.

So if it’s Judy’s then does that mean that every Christian animal depicts Jesus as the animal they are? Like is there a fox Jesus? A bear Jesus? An elephant, polar bear, or leopard Jesus? Are there debates about what species Jesus was? Whether he was a predator or prey animal? How do interspecies churches handle the issue? Are there interspecies churches? Did the people writing the Bible never think to mention what species their savior was when it seems like this whole speciesism problem is pretty embedded in society? Was that just something no body thought was important? WHY IS JESUS A BUNNY?
