Who = a person, people = quem
What= an object (objects); something (things); an animal (animals) = o que/qual
Which= specific; an option; an alternative; a choice = qual
Why: a reason; explanation= por quê?
Whose: possession = de quem
Where: a place; places; location = onde
How: a condition; a state; means of transportation = como
How big: size = qual o tamanho
How fast: speed; velocity = qual a velocidade
How long: length (comprimento) = qual o comprimento
How wide: width (largura) = qual a largura
How deep: depth (profundidade) = qual a profundidade
How old: age (idade) – qual a idade= quantos anos
How tall: height (altura) = qual a altura
How heavy: weight ( peso) = qual o peso/quanto pesa
How far: distance = qual a distância
When: parts of the day (in the morning…); days (on Mondays…); seasons (in the summer….) = quando
