Hi! I am learning russian. I find your blog really helpful. Have you joined classes or do you self study? Can you suggest a few books which were helpful to you?

Hi, I take classes at my college. I don't really know any books that would help. I've mainly used apps to help study, like memrise or duolingo (don't use this one if you're an absolute beginner, the app itself doesn't explain concepts) and also, the website masterrussian.com is great for verb conjugations (keep in mind, they don't have every verb). I hope this was helpful.

Demonstrative and Possessive Pronouns

For acc plural, the first word is inanimate and the second is animate.   Sorry, I made the photo before I realized this.

Also, for plural instr, that is supposed to be теми, not темм. For those of you that don’t know, the letters are right next to each other.

Imperatives

This is used as a command, request, or recommendation.

How to form:

Take third person plural (они), drop ending, if it ends in a vowel add й, if it doesn’t add и to make the informal imperative. For formal imperative: do the same thing, but add те after the и/й.

Examples:

читают becomes читрай(те)

говорят becomes говори(те)
