Yesterday @nikkiblak made the world stop when she posted abt how she “snagged a good one.” Excuse us Beezy!💅🏾But the best part abt her post was that it made me think abt what kinds of conversations we have with cishetmen when we first start “dating” or “talking.” And i realized that we be wasting a WHOLE lot of time. She mentioned that not having to convince her partner that trans women were women was golden for her and I LIVE! For me I think the necessary up front stuff that we need to discuss in conversation number ONE is: 1. God Stuff (this is loaded but let’s just deal with it right out the gate). 2. Bias phobic ideologues that harm other groups of people. Where do you stand? 3. Body Ownership. 😐 Cause DONT ever ask me whose... 👩🏾💻 The Answer will always be mine! Be bless. 4. Beyoncé’s role in your life. This shld be higher on the list but I digress. 5. Do you speak the language of hip hop?
