For those who do not understand, let me explain. This is a law that only a couple of states have. It means if you are chronically ill, and you have run out of options, course of treatment, you have the ability to have assistance to keep you comfortable till you pass. You have the ability to say, I am ready to go. If you are not in chronic pain, have been in a horrible accident leaving you completely helpless and more of a vegetable you will not understand why this law is even in existence. We fight everyday, but after years of fighting, you are mentally and physically can not handle it anymore. This law would do the same type of assistance to someone who is dying of things such as cancer or leukemia.
