The point of the paper is going to be proving that transandrophobia is real and also have emphasis on general transphobia awareness and prevention

Basically on one hand talking about transphobia through my ow experiences and on the other diving deeper into specifically transandrophobia and all that entails

After a long time planning, I am about to launch my new podcast Hyperfix, in which I have people come on and tell me all about their special interests! So many people with special interests are shamed into silence by allistic and nuerotypical people, and made to feel bad for talking about the things they love so enthusiastically, and I think that’s extremely shitty. I have OCD and ADHD, and have special interests myself, but I want to give people a platform to talk about their special interests with as much gusto as they want, and to start to break down the stigma surrounding these things. People with special interests have such an amazing resource of information and enthusiasm on whatever it is they love, and that should be celebrated.

Interested in sharing your story as an LGBTQ+ member of the FIRST community? Have unique insight on what’s going on and how we can make the community a better place? The admins of LGBTQ+ of FIRST want to hear your experiences! We want to reach out in the FIRST community to get insight from LGBTQ+ students, mentors, and volunteers alike. Our hopes are that sharing these stories help people feel more welcome in the FIRST community, as well as help improve awareness in the community. Reaching out to others doesn’t just help create a sense of belonging within FIRST, but gives us a fresh perspective on issues other individuals face as well.

Hello, all! I’m Basil. I’m currently a senior in Gender and Women’s studies at the University of Kentucky. I am working on my Capstone research project, which is essentially a senior thesis.

I am studying American masculinity as it presents in southern and geeky communities.

I am looking for people who are:

men, and/or identify in some way as masculine, male-aligned, etc.

between the ages of 18 and 35

located in the American South

self-identified “geeks,” “nerds,” “fanatics,” etc.

willing to do an interview over Skype call (or even in person, if you happen to be in my area and are comfortable with that)
