Lan Wangji and Wei Wuxian make out in a room full of Sect Leaders, Jiang Cheng tearfully declares his love for his estranged brother, Sect Leaders Yao and Ouyang beg for the Yiling Patriarch’s forgiveness, and Lan Qiren openly welcomes a new nephew-in-law into his family.

None of them want to be doing any of this. Thanks to the Juniors, they don’t exactly have a choice.

(Or, wherein the Juniors accidentally write a cursed fanfiction, and everyone has to reenact their parts in it, or potentially cease to exist).

Frustrated with Wangxian’s obliviousness, the Juniors write a fanfic about their romance in the main lead and the rest of the Cultivation world starring as side characters that stirs up absolute chaos on a previously boring conference. 

Everyone acts out their part while LQR is apoplectic, and LXC and JC are so done but also secretly pleased with the outcome of the Juniors’ gamble.

This fic is absolutely hysterical. Read it for a hundred laughs.

Lan Wangji's strange dreams all started when a rambunctious teenager draped in the colors of night and fire entered the Cloud Recesses.

(In other words, "Lan Wangji is horny, the people of Yiling ship Wangxian a bit too much, and Wei Wuxian didn't think that he'd have to protect A-Yuan's innocence" the Fic.)

Wherein Lan Wangji writes erotic fiction about himself and the Yiling Laozu, which gets discovered by an unknown businessman who just can’t let it go to waste, the Yiling crowd is really the fandom, and LWJ thinks he impregnated WWX through his dreams. 

Nothing’s serious here, this is pure crack.

He had written the book to prove a point. It was never supposed to be a big thing, and he certainly never intended for everyone — Jiang Cheng, Zewu-Jun, the Juniors, literally everyone— to be reading about his sex life.

Oh God, he definitely needed to make sure Lan Zhan didn’t find out about this.

(Or, when Wei Wuxian writes the Xianxia cut-sleeve equivalent of Fifty Shades of Grey, based entirely on his experiences with Lan Wangji, he doesn’t expect it to become the next big hit).

A few days later, Wei Wuxian caught Lan Qiren reading a book as he passed the Library Pavilion. The name on the front cover — Everyday — made him miss a step, and Lan Qiren hurriedly hid the book under a table, and snapped that he “wasn’t a cut-sleeve, he had just grabbed the wrong book from the library.”

WWX anonymously writes a novel called “Everyday” and everybody and their mother, including (especially) Jiang Cheng gets very much invested in the “story”. So does Xichen, who WWX traumatizes right back into seclusion. Bored WWX is a hazard to the whole cultivation world and seriously, what’s not love about that 😂👌? If there’s a single one soul that hasn’t read this fic yet, you should rectify that immediately.

Summary:

Wei Wuxian’s hand jolts, spilling a drop of wine onto the tabletop. “Love?” he croaks, then clears his throat and tries again. “Lan Zh— uh, Hanguang-jun, in love?”

“Have you not heard the story?” the other young woman asks, looking pitying. “You must, it is a truly heartrending tale of star-crossed romance and mutual pining — go to any storyhouse in town, everyone has been requesting a reading of this book.”

“There’s a book?” Wei Wuxian says blankly.

In which the junior disciples (namely, Lan Jingyi, Ouyang Zizhen, and a reluctant Lan Sizhui) turn to RPF in an attempt to rehabilitate Wei Wuxian’s reputation so that he and Hanguang-jun can get together and get married and live happily ever after. It’s… surprisingly effective.

Comments:  The fic where the juniors write a RPF about Wangxian. I bet everybody has already read this as it’s a Wangxian classic but just in case you haven’t– you know what to do :))
