Wizard Masen -What was thought to be a normal day...
It was only 3 days after we had helped the priests to summon these "heroes” from wherever. Intuition and Insanity started to argue. Then Rage joined in. Understanding, Wisdom and others tried to calm the situation but it did not help. The summoning of these "heroes" had caused the crystal to become unstable.
These are essences that live within the realm and as wizards, they stay within us. We do not control which essence we receive. Aleks is Intuition, Uber is Rage, Karajan is insanity, Em is Understanding and I am Wisdom.
It seemed that as a result of this switching between our other selves, the crystal exploded. Luckily we were able to gather the crystal heart and worked on re-building the casing for it. However, Karajan had a turn for the worst…
Insanity would not go, and kept a hold on her. She was taken to an unknown location so Uber and myself went to find her while Aleks re-built the crystal's container. When Uber and I found Karajan she was crying out in pain. We took her back to our tower in order for the crystal to help her but as soon as Aleks placed the crystal back again, it exploded. The explosion caused Karajan to be teleported to somewhere. I asked Uber to help Aleks to rebuild the crystal container while I went to find Karajan.
I finally found Karajan walking across the land towards somewhere. It was then I heard someone called Ichor, telling me he was in control of Karajan and was taking her somewhere safe. I was cautious of this voice and followed Karajan to a small structure, far away from anywhere. After standing there for a few moments, Karajan seemed to regain herself. I transported us back to the tower and found that the crystal container had been restored. I threw the crystal heart back in, and suddenly everything was stable.
I sighed in relief. I spoke to my wizard family. Aleks was angry with the mortals, and blamed them for this instability, Uber was angry at this Ichor for taking away Karajan and Karajan was slightly dazed from her experience. I asked them to calm and try to keep peaceful. We need these mortals to help use revive the gods, which will help the crystal stabilize further. It was after that I spoke to Ichor.
I thanked him for his help in finding Karajan and helping her through what she went through. However, he would have to do more in order to gain our trust, no matter how long he has known Karajan. I mean, he called her Proj… It seems there is more behind this young wizard than it seems but as long as my wizard family is alive… At least, in what I read from the book I was given. Karajan told me Ichor wrote it, and it gave me an idea behind Karajan's past.
I feel ashamed that the mortals and even the priests had to live through that horrible ordeal but it shows them how important it is to get the gods back. But, we have closed off the tower for safety and us wizards will check up on the crystal regularly. For now, I must rest. There is a long journey ahead of us…
