“Ugh… how did I wound up in this position?” I groaned as I finished putting a red dress suit that fits a Riolu like me. “Hey, you lost the bet. And you know what happens next, don’t you?” said a stern yet girly voice. I looked at my kirlia friend, Iris with an irritated look. She was wearing a pink dress while combing her red hair. “I know…” I said with a sigh, I told Iris that I was going to get a higher score than her on the exam and I lost by 4%. “...But I’m still bringing Akira along, they’re being so distant from the other pokemon here… so I’m hoping that this ‘Valiant Efforts Valentine's Day Event’ might help them open up a bit.” I said with a determined look after I put on my comet-shard glove. Iris looked perplexed at first but gave it some thought before nodding. “I know that it’s been a few days since you ‘convinced’ it to exit that cave, but still… isn’t it a bit too early for them?” “It won’t be, Akria told me that he’s familiar with pokemon from other dimensions, so this should be a cake-walk for him. Besides he’s already white-skinned with a purple tail so he doesn’t need to wear a suit.” I said with a smile before I exited the room and entered the kitchen where Akira was.
I saw it floating a few feet off the ground in a meditating position whose face was buried in a book floating in tandem. I didn't recognize it, when I got closer and saw the cover I broke a small sweat. It was a book that my father treasured: War letters, by Andrew Carroll. I cleared my throat and Akria looked up and saw me: before the book snapped shut with it’s psychic powers I saw bold letters which said: “After peace is declared, Lt Lewis Plush reflects in a letter to his parents on the haunting images of war he will never forget.” There was an awkward silence before it was interrupted by Iris who just entered the room. “So… I take it that you like that book?” I said nervously, the mewtwo smiled and nodded. “It’s fascinating, to be honest… you have untold history in this book, history that is never revealed in schools across this world… perhaps it's what they do best: manipulate the kids, tell them their own version of the truth… when there is none.” It said before putting the book away in a red shoulder bag that they were wearing. “So. What do you want to talk about? Judging by your and your friend's appearance, I assume it’s one of those ‘dates’?” It asked with an amusing look. I blushed a pretty pink after hearing that and Iris laughed. “HAHAHAHA!! You’re close! It’s that and…” She said and we explained to them about the valentine’s day event that’s coming soon.
“I see… so you want me to practice socializing with the other pokemon attending this event?” Akira asked as they exited their meditation pose and their feet touched the floor. I was expecting a ‘no’ when it said the exact opposite: “Sure, I’ll go. But I'll be bringing this with me.” Akira said before tapping the book bag on it’s side. The two of us looked at each other with worry before nodding to each other and I said: “that’s fine, but don’t make trouble with the others, ok?” Iris asked politely and the mewtwo nodded. “Very well, shall we?” Akira asked before they walked out of the kitchen and Iris held my hand before we followed them.
Saisei, Iris and Akira are on their way! It would be appreciated if you can help Akira open up to the other pokemon attending this event! Ask the three anything!
