So today I was at a PhD meetup and the topic eventually shifted to Lord of the Rings.

My time to shine✨

Me, the only woman at the table, in her 20s, lecturing a group of men in their 30s and 40s about deeper Tolkien lore, explaining (among other things) how Maiar death works and what the One Ring does. I fucking killed it, you guys, trust.

And then someone asked what everyone's favorite characters from the main LotR cast were and I of course said Sauron/Mairon and I got bullied to hell and back for outing myself as the hardcore villain stan that I am😂 I fought back by calling everyone else basic, but I was informed that I will not be living this down lmao.

Anyway, y'all, I told the guys that I know so many people who also stan Mairon. Fans of our dark lord on his dark throne, rise up! I know you're with me! One twink to rule them all!
