Trying to make new friends

So, it’s been a LOONG while since i‘ve made a new post here and that was like 3 months ago. But anyways recently i’ve been trying to make new friends irl and it’s not that easy ever since of march of 2020 (lol), recently there has been a group of guys that go around my neighborhood ever since April 1st. And i was wondering if i could et my bike back up and running and so i did, i reflated my bike tires (with the help of my dad). Then for like two hours i waited for them to come by my house and then i would ask them if i could join them but they never came by. then i went back inside since it was getting dark and i listened to some music. But, today i have another writing test (in person) so, i think i might meet Emily again and if not then thats fine too but what i really want out of this is, a new friend. I haven't left yet but this post is like a before i did something perspective thingy. I’m wearing makeup with a orangey eyeshadow on the sides and is lighter near my tearducks and some eyeliner and i also got some blush on. I styled my hair so it’s outwards instead of inwards (figurative) and i have on a black dress with white stirpes and a belt on top of that and white socks with some black shoes now, hopefully this is better than last times outfit lol. I have had a lot of typical projects this summer. Making some money, getting my driver’s license, and this blog, for example. But I also want to improve on my cooking and baking. I figure since I will be relying less on the meal plan and more on myself for food in the coming year, I should probably be able to actually prepare food to feed myself. Plus, everyone loves a nice sweet treat after a long day. So I have decided to improve and perfect my meatloaf recipe, as well as bake some basic chocolate chip cookies. I am also going to start a personal cookbook of my favorite recipes. Someday I hope these will be my family’s recipes that we can pretend have been handed down through the ages, but secretly came from recipes.com.

My girlfriend’s fun weekend romp continued with another gorgeous hike in a mountain path full of wildflowers. Really looking forward to hiking. As much as I love the suburbs and the city of DC, I have recently been pining for the call of the wild (not the book which I felt was overrated). She and her friend have made all sorts of long-term friendship plans. Inspiration to do more of that kind of thin with my friends.
