Ayn, Iron Shadow

A character I made for a D&D oneshot a few months ago. They're a hobgoblin assassin rogue/shadow monk, an Iron Shadow. Iron Shadows are spies and assassins for the hobgoblin armies. They typically wear masks depicting devils, and Ayn's chosen devil is a Spined Devil, which are known for collecting information.

Redrawn bugbears and hobgoblins. They were some of my oldest tokens (from around 2016) and definitely needed some work. The proportions are all more in line with how my style has developed in the nearly 10 years since I started this mad project.

So like, episode 5 of cutie honey universe felt an awful lot like filler, but i think it was the absolute best so far.

The story was fun and short and gave us a great reinterpretation of Iron Shadow/Sadow, the surreal visuals in the circus room were great, the whole circus sequence was amazing even (yey Jango cameo). The tone felt suitably dark with an uplifting ending and its nice Honey is finally starting to see through Genet/Jill. The whole thing felt like an episode of the original series with its self contained story and strong villainess. The arms dealers all looked like Lupin III extras.

Final thought: Why did that tall black guy get arrested? he even said he thought they were discussing a business opportunity not weapons. Is Cutie Honey a racist? Find out next week!

another npc from the dnd campaign i’m in! her name is mazoga and she’s the leader of the hobgoblin iron shadows.  she’s super badass and stuff, at least when the dm can roll above a 10 lol
