Iron pentacle trivet. c.1950 Iron broom trivet. c.1940 Found these two beauties yesterday while antiquing. Can’t wait to get some use out of them after I clean and restore them.
Iron is a formidable metal and steeped in history and magic deeper than the ground the ore is plumbed out of. These were iron nails, and now they’ll be blades after a little work. One for a rod, one for a wildcrafting knife, and one to be determined.
Mining for coal on the hillside. It’s not exciting wizard work, but I need to coal to keep my furnaces running. The next job is to gather iron so that I can forge some iron tools and armor.

I built the skinning knife and see how much hide it provides. I also build the iron pick the first of the iron tools. Then we go try these tools out. At the end of the episode we get some lore with Arcos the wanderer.
Along with redoing Mewtwo with the new grays, I was also able to make better Minecraft tools. The old iron tools are now stone, as that’s more what they looked like, and the new iron tools are.. well iron!
