What a fam!!!💕
My favorite kind of ironop interaction
old gay men compilation
I saw a YT video today that was entirely about how like, "Elita-1 is being characterized poorly because since IDW she's become increasingly more violent and aggressive, and Optimus Prime wouldn't fall for somebody like that and she isn't his counterpart anymore," and I was pissed off by it. (It even included a complaint that Earthspark's Elita-1 had to learn to be less quick to violent action which I think is such a misread of a kind character, too. Who cares if she isn't perfect 100% of the time?)
We should all be happy that Elita-1 is being individuated more from Optimus Prime! It leads to more interesting stories! Especially if a cast is small, as long as she isn't demonized, I don't just want there to be two Optimus Primes! And isn't it misogynistic to judge Elita based on whether or not Optimus would be into her? We should design a leader character as an individual person first and foremost! And she hasn't been in a romantic relationship with Optimus in more stories than she has been, anyway. She had other traits in the G1 cartoon than just being Optimus's old girlfriend. Plus, even though I hate Kirkman's writing for the Skybound comics and think he's written every character poorly, this take entirely ignores that Optimus also makes bad decisions and that he apparently also used to be a very violent person.
...And anyway, don't we all know deep down that Optimus was totally banging Ironhide, the guy who was always like, "If you don't turn this ship around I'm beating the shit out of you, Prime" or "If you stupid kids don't stop with the backtalk I'm killing you" so really—

Transformers fans spreaded so many fake fanon facts about Transformers before. Let me spread my fake fact about Ironhide being Optimus's second-in-command in the Ironop shipping agenda....
