Find the app on app stores today Chicken bacon pot pie skillet Ingredients 1 pre-made pie crust 1 egg 4 tsbp butter 1 medium white or yellow onion, diced 2 medium carrots, peeled and diced 3 tbsp flour 1 1/2 cups chicken broth 1 1/2 cups milk 3 cups cooked chicken, chopped 1/2 pound thick cut bacon, cooked and cut into chunks 1 1/2 cups frozen peas Salt and pepper to taste Directions Roll crust between two pieces of parchment paper till it’s about i inch larger than cast iron skillet. Remove the top piece of parchment. Fold in outer 1/2 inch to make edge thicker and make crust same size as skillet. Cut or poke holes in center. Place parchment and crust onto a baking sheet and refrigerate for 20 minutes Preheat oven to 400° Remove crust from refrigerator. Whisk 1 egg with 1 tbsp water. Brush mixture on top of crust. Bake until golden brown, about 15 minutes Remove from oven but leave oven on Melt butter over over medium heat in skillet. Add carrots and onions. Sauté until onions are tender. Add flour and cook 1 minute. Add milk and chicken broth. Continue to cook and stir until thickened( about 10 minutes). Stir in chicken and peas. Season to taste with salt and pepper. Top with pre-baked and bake for about 15 minutes or until crust is crispy and filling is bubbly.
