FIC TROPES....ok i LOVE like, the idea of like vampire and werewolf aus so much theyre my thing but 99% of the time when u run across one of those au fics on ao3 theyre just. skeezy as hell like they alwasy (especially vampire ones) seem to b an excuse to be really creepy about power dynamics and control (the second someone mentions a "thrall" [throws laptop out window]) they always just make it WEIRD. also i dont like soulmate aus at all for some reason
