Ok so miu and maki are both insecure in their own rights. Maki is confident in her talents and doesnt seem to think highly about anything else she is. Miu is very outwardly confident, especially in her looks and talent, yet shes also extremely insecure in these things, or at least, craves validation

Hence this hc i came up with one day that im gonna slide into a royal au.

Miu: “you know, you’re actually pretty gorgeous for an assassin, like fuck, you look hot as shit.”

Maki: “…yeah sure”

Miu: “Im not fucking around, and when youre not glaring at me like you hate me or some shit, or being all angry at me, youre pretty fun to hang with.”

They bounce of eachothers insecurities so well. Miu learns that under makis walls, shes just a sweet, pretty girl. And Maki learns that Miu’s actually cool when shes not trying to overcompensate to get attention

I cant explain it well enough but theyre like that domestic couple that somehow *works*

Maki casually doing chores and/or cooking, Miu fixing stuff around the house and buying cute things for the two of them (and decorating their house)

Id like to think they both do small things in eachothers lives that makes everything run smoothly. From Maki making miu breakfast when she wakes up late from working until 4am, to Miu picking out oufits for makis days
