Ah, this ship--it's so underrated! Like, it's not even the most popular m/f ship for Kokichi! Isn't that crazy? Still, I adore this ship a lot! So, let's talk about it~!

A classic best friends to lovers situation, except the best friends love taking jabs at each other at every point they can. Their insults are all for show and never real, and they respect one another as much as they adore each other. No one can handle their mouths but each other, and they relish in disrupting the room with their foul language. Their relationship is a roaring laughter between two best friends playing a competitive game with one another, warm and loud and hearty--but it feels so much like home that you don't mind the squealing and giggles. In fact, they make everything better. Yet just like home, there is a tenderness in the late hours of solitude, where they can find rest with one another. Then their love is like bedding that's fresh out of the drier--encompassing, warm, and secure.

What I like about this ship: I love that Kokichi and Miu banter like a foul-mouthed old married couple. They're like childhood friends who grew up with the same language and it's a language that only they can speak, where as to outsides it looks vile, it's all in good fun. There is a comfort in loving your best friend, and it's a sweet, fun kind of love that outlasts life itself.
