okayyyy punishing nesta for telling feyre that her and her babies life is in danger???? sure, she didn’t say it in a great way but taking her on a hike as punishment is insane. she was so angry at the lack of trust and fear in her from her supposed ‘ court’ that she became controlled by her power. the power only one person has offered to help teach her about, so she’s had practically no chance in learning to control it.

something that clearly started bc of the IC’s own mistakes in not trusting nesta ends up in the IC being satisfied that she’s being punished??? are u kidding me. everyone was too much of a coward to tell feyre what could happen to her and the only person that gave her the grace of knowing is punished… i’m not anti inner court but that’s clearly so disgusting.

you know I really hate it when some producer or director on their high and mighty chair would say 'we are going to make this more than a Y series'. It's clear that even though these people make money off of BLs they don't think of them as real art. It could easily be: Oh I like this genre and I want to help it evolve. But each and every time they repeat: This is more than a mere BL (implying that BLs are somehow dirty.)

BNHA 228 - I'm a little confused now!

The pacing is so weird! The shifts in POVs was tolerable for the past chapters but in this one it feels awkward!

I gotta admit I'm just a lil sour that they dodged the Dabi is a Todoroki chapter we were waiting for T_T but on second reading after being disappointed for a few hours (hah) I guess this gives us insight on Dabi as a person, and maybe about his past as well.

In the preceding panels he gives a quick assessment on Ice Guy, who was able to manage keeping his presence hidden in plain sight even tho he is strong. Dabi says something to the effect of "I wasnt able to tell before, but now I can tell at a glance" referring to Ice Hands (... Cold Hands?) And his quirk. There is an implication that a) Dabi feels like he's improving and b) he makes a Conscious effort to improve.

It's a trait that sticks out, because he makes a big show of being lackadaisical for most of the story. Where did he get this tendency to keep improving then? Maybe surviving on the streets will do that to a poor villain... But so can very rigorous and damaging training many years before hah!

There were theories circulating before this chapter that Cold Hands is also a Todoroki but seeing that his quirk does not work exactly like Shouto's right side I guess we can shelve that temporarily. The term is cryokinesis--I suppose it's more of a psychic type rather than elemental, because he has to summon ice rather than create them. Very interesting, ruined only by the fact that the guy is a fanatic NEET. He kinda reminds me of those guys in MP100 S2? The guys that follow Suzuki? Even mentions that his leader gave him that power. Which is strange because it makes it sound like he was given a quirk, which is an AfO thing so. Confusion

Okay. Even tho I hated the sudden shift in focus in this chapter I really like how Twice was written here. To him the LoV is more than just its goals, it's his family too. I wonder how he found Toga but it must be frightening seeing someone he cares for very much in such a bloody state.

And the art. His face and body language, the conflicting dialog in his head, the fear of losing Toga. It's heartbreaking when he realizes how cold her skin is, how the fight inside his head escalates the more he holds her close. If they show this in the anime I have high expectations on the framing music voice acting etc, I want to see an elevation of the despair shown by my mans Twice here

And to see the scene of him killing himself over and over? Shit. I feel for him I really do. It's amazing how he keeps.it together on most days. Now he's being pushed to break in the worst way! I hope someone saves him, or he does something to avoid the Gorillaz guy 's creepy ass puppets!

Okay I wanna read the next chapter but could it please just focus on one thing at a time first? Huhuhu

I feel out of the loop... Which show writer just turned out to be a TERF?

Graham Linehan, writer of fun, snarky, quirky british comedies like The IT Crowd, Black Books and Father Ted.

It came to a head when the National Lottery, which often donates some of its profits to charity, designated a UK charity called Mermaids as its recipient. Mermaids is based around helping young kids who are trans or outside the gender binary, and their families. Linehan rallied Mumsnet, a parenting website, into a letter-writing campaign to make the Lottery reconsider. He considers speaking out about “transgenderism” as important as standing up to Nazis.

It’s almost worse than if he’d just turned out to be a shithead, because at this point I’m used to men turning out to be shitheads. It’s that he’s fallen in with TERFs and couching it all as being Woke About Women and Pro-Feminist. He constantly calls trans rights a front for men to invade women’s spaces. He talks about being silenced for talking about how much white trans women endanger black cis women. Every retweet is another TERF talking point. Mermaids especially is all what about the children????? hullaballo. It’s like - it’s like he’s trying to be woke, but he learned from the absolute worst group to learn social justice anything from, and anyone trying to get him to rethink it just cements his opinion more. It’s basically all his twitter is now.

It’s really depressing, especially considering how thoroughly my whole family enjoyed his shows. The Father Ted christmas special has been a Christmas staple for us for years. We reference Black Books and The IT Crowd memes all the time. So I’m glad that at least something good came of it, in the form of all the money this livestream raised.

LIKE ?? i blame totally the writers. it started out well and then katherine was all about stefan and like ?? it was just hella weird. like i did not get THE VIBE of the original love triangle. i did not get show d.atherine at all. like in the book YOU CAN SEE IT. you can see it that katherine could not pick bcs se strongly felt for both and in the show it’s two lines of loving them both and then it’s stefan and i’m like ? ye right.
