everyone’s social media posts including louis, his team, his supporting acts apart from the snuts show a lack of professionalism that is baffling. it’s inappropriate to point out what your personnel did (their job) as a response instead of focusing on the issue here which was the fans being injured. that statement was written by PR which is even more baffling. it’s clear louis had no understanding of the severity of the situation when he first tweeted - either that or he didn’t care. neither is good. i don’t want him or anyone else to change. i want to point out the failings and i want them to be held accountable for their actions.

I find it completely mindblowing that anyone that gives a fuck about the calibration of the social media after the event. To me that reflects a terrifying overvaluing of speech acts over the actions taken by those in power to try and save money.

People were injured and their lives were put at risk because those responsible for the gig did not take the known risks seriously and did not communicate clearly at the time of crisis. That's what matters to me - and that's the only thing that I think it's useful to use language like accountability and failings.

To focus on such trivialities, when there's obvious a serious structural issue that put people's lives at risk is incomprehensible to me.

i rarely read reddit posts but i read one on relationship advice the other day and this dude was just absolutely spiraling in anxiety and like....zero people were like “dude you have anxiety” they were all just “ur concerns are valid” because it was about not wanting to have a baby and feeling dismissed
