Gosh I do love that in Bug Fables they are accurate with all the worker ants and bees being female like in real life, I’m so used to seeing bug media have all the workers be male instead. That being said, I am really curious…where are all the drones?

The only male bees in the game are solitary species like Crisbee (Carpenter bee) and several bumblebees in defiant root. I heard one of the developers say that the queen just keeps the drones in her chamber off screen? Is it like a harem? Can they leave? Do the bees have gender equality?

Also kinda crazy that the only drone ant we see in the game is a gay criminal theif femboy. Is he even allowed to have a job I wonder? Did he run away because he didn’t want to be just another concubine? Is a life of crime the only life he can live outside the queen’s chambers? I want to know!!!

But Two, I think it really does show you how much they avoided it while Lewis was there, because he clearly WAS uncomfortable being around anything to do with Nico, or having Nico involved with merc.
