Okey, so I used @redstonebug ‘s (go check them out, tho you already should have) Doovid “I Voted” sticker as a colour and stylised ref… I’ll develop my way of drawing the Skyheads at some pointttt: studying, shoo - I hv block ppl to draww
It’s small and and not exactly the right pose, BUT I WANTED TO GET OUT AN @erosivetendencies BEFORE THE POLL ENDED!! AND IM BUSY THIS WEEKEND!!
Anyway, reference pics from stream, I will ABSOLUTELY draw more Doovslay, but GIMME A WHILE!!:
i still miss my chancellors #mychancellors
TADC SPOILERS, just watched the film and wanna yap my initial thoughts
POOR RIBBIT GOSH
She did nothing wrong, basically tried to pull a Pomni, then got abstracted. Guess there could be something there about how she should've reached out to others when Jax shut her out, cuz Pomni had others to fall back on, but daaaaaamn
2. On that note
I like how when everybody scattered Pomni went after Kinger. Bc for everybody else she was the one being supportive (except maybe for Ragatha where it was reciprocral even if not fully apreciated). It felt like she was filling her cup before filling others kinda deal
3. 8-9 should've been together to begin with
I was kinda underwhelmed by the finale and I can't figure out why but I think it's cause it feels like the wind-down part of the story. Which would prolly work great if binging, and somewhat better if watched together with 8 without having seen 8 before. 8 is where the most impactful... not twists exactly but I can't find a word.. where the best twists were
Other than that... they can't leave the circus and will rebuild the it and be there for each other... this is fine, but they had already come to that conclusion before... they just added caine at the end without having to come to terms with treating an AI as a person... I think caine is the part I least enjoyed, prolly cuz it was so independent of everything else happening, and how he jjst rips abel out and he's suddenly fine
...if it's the pacing that's making me most meh though I'll probably have better things to say later
Jamie does try. To lend an ear, an arm, a place to go, for The Manager. As much as they are capable of offering within the confines of their dynamic, and however flawed their approach may be, they try.
Like a droplet of water on a raging forest fire, they try.
But how could they, fresh and flowering, still surface bent, chased by the remnants of surface light, ever be able to comprehend. At least, that's how his perspective shapes it.
They are young, so very young. They couldn't understand.
(How would he even start. He's not the wordsmith here.)
tee hee anxiety vent don't mind me
