So today I met my two closest internet friends in actual real, real life. Like, they were sitting in my living room kinda real life. They have been a constant source of support and laughter for three years and I’m so glad we finally got to meet up. I thought it might be awkward because, yknow, new people, but it was just the most natural thing in the world and I did not want them to leave. They are so awesome, such a lovely couple, and I can’t get over how much we have in common. I wish we lived closer and could hang out more, but hopefully we’ll be meeting up more often now. Meeting strangers on the internet is definitely not always a bad thing!

Mai’s questions. 1- what’s your fave colour? Yellow.. I think. I change my mind a lot. I also love Lavender.2- can you speak another language?I can speak fairly fluent French, a fair bit of Welsh, though it’s nowhere near as good as it used to be, and I studied German for 2 years and all I remember is “Ich habe eine campingplatz”, which is probably not spelt right but it means “I have a campsite”.3- do you have any pets?No, but as you are all aware I’m sure, I am desperate for a cat. I have owned fish in the past though.4- what was your fave holiday?Well the camp that I go to every year is probably my favourite… but last Summer I got to go to France with my boyfriend which was as incredible as it sounds.5- your dream job?If I knew that, I probably wouldn’t get so upset about life. Really all I’ve ever known is that I want to be a mother someday.6- describe your perfect day.There are lots of options. But a great one would be to wake up next to my boyfriend, have a lazy morning playing GTA 5 and drinking tea, going out for a walk with his dog and having a picnic (but that’s more a summer thing), coming home and having an evening in, maybe play a board game, cook dinner together, and watch a film before going to bed. Something like that.7- do you like camping?I LOVE CAMPING. Not quite so much in the rain though.8- fave song of all time?I don’t have one. But I always go back to Free fallin’ by John Mayer.9- chocolate or crisps?Chocolate, of course.10- fave blog?Aw I couldn’t pick just one. Just all my closest friends on here really. I love the stuff you guys write.

You're trying with the wrong people. You can put everything you have into something but if the person on the receiving end doesn't appreciate it then that's their problem. You'll find somebody that appreciates your efforts eventually, don't be scared to get hurt.

I'm not scared of getting hurt, but it sucks that no matter how kind and nice you are people only use you :/

To that anon that just posted about his Girlfriend leaving. I have a friend who was with a girl for about 3 years, she left all of a sudden with literally no reason and my mate was crushed. He gave her space (for a whole year), they did their own thing all that time, now they're back together and have asked me to be an usher at their wedding in a couple of months. If she wants it she'll come back for it but don't be pushy, give her space and time. Chin up
