CHARACTER QUESTIONNAIRE
Please answer the following questions in the voice of your selected character.
Why do you believe your wand chose you?
“….How the bloody hell should I know? –Er… sorry, Professor…. I just meant that I really don’t know. I spend my time doing things a lot more interesting than reading up on what my wand core means and why it suits some people better and other’s not so well. Not to mention, I have a hard enough time reading the boring books assigned to us in class, and now I’m expected to know about wand lore? If there’s anyone who’d know about their wand, it’s be Ollivander– you should go ask her!”
Do you believe you were sorted correctly?
“Who knows! Sometimes it seems like those of us with family history involved in the Dark Arts have no choice but to be sorted as Slytherin! But I don’t mind too much, since I was raised better, to look past blood purity and all the mumbo-jumbo. But anyway; I’m happy with where I am as a Slytherin. And it might be the only redeeming quality I have in my father’s eyes.”
When casting the Patronus Charm, which happy memory would you focus on?
“I usually think of happy moments with Tara! Which is nearly every moment we have together; she’s honestly the best friend a girl could ever ask for, and I sometimes imagine what life would’ve been like if we hadn’t met, and the thought just seems vastly dark and lonely. She’d made me so happy, ever since I met her! I adore her. So really any of those memories with her.”
How do you feel your time at Hogwarts has affected you as a person?
“I’m not really sure, I’ve never thought about it…I know it’s certainly made me more outgoing. I have a lot more friends than what I started out with– but that’s probably because there weren’t many opportunities to actually make friends while living at my nan’s. I honestly don’t know what else it possibly might’ve changed… Ask me again when I’m a seventh year! Maybe I’ll have figured it out by then!”
Where do you see yourself in five years?
“In five years…. well, I hope I’m working on whatever career I’ve figured out by then! I’d like to be involved in quidditch still, maybe commentating but for professional teams. But who knows? I don’t think I’m good enough to be anything else, like a Healer or Potioneer. Not that I’d want to be either of those, since they involve a lot more schooling and I’m just trying to finish what I need to at Hogwarts! But yeah, hopefully I’m doing something I love. And with Tara by my side! Maybe I’ll work for her when she becomes a big and powerful name at the Ministry! I’m just hoping that by then, my mum and dad realize I’m never going to be the perfect daughter they’ve always wanted.”
