I tried to take a nap, but couldn't fall asleep, so here's some werewolf Loup rambles that came up while I was attempting sndndn
------
When Loup became..... what they are, they lost parts of both their humanity and their non-humanity
They still have the same craft-burned skin, the same crackles and pops, the same bright star-light head
I think they're proportional to be able to walk quadrupedally and bipedally, but neither looks quite right
They are the epitome of something "in-between"
I was considering whether or give them a snout, or to keep their in-game eyes-only face; and, I feel like giving them a snout feels like the obvious answer, but removing it feels even more fascinating.
Like- the Universe took every part of Loup's identity that it could, and gave it to IS&T-Frin.
When I think of wolves, I think of growls and snapping jaws, graceful movements through the trees; silent, dark, and deadly.
And Loop....
Removing their snout removes something vital to their identity as a wolf, and I think that's a rather delicious concept to play with.
Also, I imagine during the Two Hats fight, what if they regained a muzzle made of pure-lightless craft, just for a moment, in the stroke of a perfect lunge towards Siffrin.
oughhhhhhhh
